About the event
On May 6, 2019, we lost our beloved Scott after a long, brave fight with colon cancer. In his memory, we formed the Rhythm Forever foundation to raise money for colon cancer research. Each year, on (or around) DJ Scott Bragin's birthday, we gather virtually for a run/walk to celebrate his exceptional life and help fund those working to cure a truly horrible disease.
While Scott’s life and legacy remain at the heart of our mission, our work represents everyone who has faced - or is currently facing - this disease. We exist to raise awareness, fund research, and help build a future where no one has to endure colon cancer again.
Unlike other races with familiar units of measurement (i.e., 5K, 10K, 3 miles), we run/walk 1 MB, which is exactly 4.06 miles (April 6 - Scott's birthday).
